Get aware of aspects linked to shop fit outs

Your new venture is nearly ready to become a reality.  Blood, sweat, tears and a lot of money have gone into getting your business off the ground.  All the plans are in place to open your retail outlet, service or restaurant.

Before you take the plunge here are some important points to consider when choosing a space to set up your business.

Location.  Is your business near main public transport routes? Is there parking? Is there enough foot traffic to support your business and bring in customers?

Layout of your store.  Your shop fitouts is key to the success of your business.  Is the entrance welcoming and does it reflect your brand or business?  Is the lighting creating the right atmosphere and ambience for your place of business?

Can customers buy?  Are your products on display and easy to reach, touch and feel?  Will your customers be comfortable in your store?

Safety First.  Use a reputable shop or commercial fit out specialist to ensure that your retail space is safe for your customers and your staff.  The last thing you need is some bad press or an injury in your first year.

Your business needs to reflect your brand and your own dream.  Choosing the right shop fit out from the beginning will set you off on the right track and give you the best possible start at a successful business.
